The DCSportsBox
The DCSportsBox is an integral part of my life. A few of us use to shoot for another on-line sports network and Al Santos stepped up and started the DCSportsBox.
Several of us photographers and writers followed Al (2006) in this adverture and it has been a great ride ever sense.
The DCSportsBox can bee found at http://www.dcsportsbox.com/
We cover Pro and College sports in the Washington DC area and are unique to other sports networks. We not only photograph and report on each sporting event we cover but we also showcase our photography by having photo galleries and the option so sell some of the images for certain events.
One great thing about this group is we all love what we are doing and have a great time with each other.

Medium Format
I have been looking at doing some medium format work at some weddings and also do some portraits.
I really love digital but I also want to work with film so I make myself really concentrate on getting the composition and exposure correct right out of the camera.
I can't help but think this will make me a much better photographer.
Let me know what you think!!!!

An Image From The Class
It is crazy how busy I have been with the fulltime job and it's putting me behind on some of the photography things I want to do.
As in the last message I said I would post some images, well here is one from the class that I really had fun with.
Of course we are in the nations capital, it was around midnight and Amanda was really great. The wind was blowing so it blew the vail back great, we placed a Quantum Q-Flash behind to light the vail and one in front the light Amanda.
Let me know what edits you would make or what you think would make the image better.

Clay Blackmore's Spring Class 2008
I just wanted to tell everyone what a great inspiration Clay was during the last 4 days and how much fun it is to watch him work. Students from all over came to learn from one of the best in the business and will return home motivated and eager to implement his teachings.
Clay had a great teacher, Monte Zucker, and the Rockville, MD location the class was held is a dedication to Monte.
When I get a little more time I will list a few things that we learned and share some of the great images taken during the class.
